Same worry, two answers
A preview of how the two AIs answer differently. Real answers vary each time.
My exam is in two weeks and I haven't done anything yet.
Ether
Split the 14 days into three parts.
- Days 1 to 9: one unit a day, starting with the one you're least sure of
- Days 10 to 12: redo only the questions you got wrong
- Last two days: one full practice run, then a good night's sleep
Today there's just one task: open the first unit.
Xync
Two weeks is still enough. Let go of the worry about what you haven't done, just a little.
Finish just one unit today, and give yourself credit for it. That one win makes tomorrow so much lighter.
I want to start a new hobby but don't know what.
Ether
Start with your constraints.
- Time you can spare each week
- Money you can spend each month
- Alone or with others
Tell me those three and I'll narrow it down to three options.
Xync
When did you last lose track of time? There's a hint in that.
It doesn't have to be grand. Try lots of small things and follow whatever makes your heart race!
A friend said something that hurt, and I don't know what to do.
Ether
First, write down the facts and the feelings separately.
- What your friend said
- What you felt then
- What you'd like from now on
With that sorted out, your point comes across before the emotion when you talk.
Xync
That must have really hurt. If those words stay with you, it also means how much that friend matters.
Once you've calmed down a little, tell them honestly that it hurt. Sincerity gets through better than you think.
How it works
- They read before they answer. For each question they find a few relevant passages in the Ether Library's Korean translations and build their answer on those ideas. The books and chapters they read are listed under each answer so you can check them yourself. The model hasn't memorized the books; as the library grows, so does what they can look up. For now, they answer in Korean.
- They only quote what's in the books.Anything in quotation marks is checked against the passages they read. If it isn't there, the quotation marks come off and it's shown as a paraphrase. It's how we avoid putting invented words in the mouths of ancient sages.
- They match your age.Choose child, teen or adult and they adjust their words and tone. Otherwise they answer in simple, polite language anyone can follow. Topics not suitable for children are gently redirected to a trusted adult.
- Ratings stay on this device. You can mark each answer “Helpful” or “Not quite”. Ratings are saved only in this browser and never sent to a server.
- Everything runs on this device. The AI model is downloaded to your browser once and runs on your graphics hardware (WebGPU). EtherXync's servers play no part in the conversation.
- Nothing is sent, nothing is kept. What you type and the answers are never sent to or stored on a server. Conversation history lives only in this browser's storage, and you can delete it any time.
- Not a substitute for professional help. They don't give medical, mental health, legal or investment advice, and they can't replace people you trust or professionals. In a crisis in the US, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. In Korea, call 109 (suicide prevention), 1577-0199 (mental health crisis), 1388 (youth counseling) or 112 / 119 right away.
- The model.Qwen3.5 2B / 4B (Apache-2.0), running on WebLLM. Being small, it can misread a passage or get facts wrong, and it doesn't know books outside our shelves or recent news. It won't open on devices with little memory. Please talk important decisions over with a person.
